These Physical Delights

The physical world,
Is giving you physical delights,
That you cannot get,
If you are dead.

The spirit world,
Continues to see,
And feel,
Through your eyes,
And senses.

When the brain lights up,
Through sparks of creation,
The universe continues to expand.
I don't have to do anything,
But conspire in this great experience.


When a woman turns a page too noisily at a library,
Can create a conflict that violates the peace,
That your mind needs in order to study.
All conflicts amount to zero,
Serving neither the creator nor the recipient.

Competition and Ego

Competition of aggressiveness or justified righteousness,
Is essentially the desire to be supreme,
And has led to many great wars and conflicts. 

What does the competition towards satisfying the ego lead to?
Can we satisfy the endless hunger of the ego?
Is it dangerous no matter how frivolous or playful?
Is it healthy or are we deem to be foolish to question?
